The directory
IGotAPro is a directory of local home-service businesses. Using the site is free for homeowners, forever. Every listing shows the business's own published phone number; when you call, you are dealing with the business directly. IGotAPro is not a party to any work you hire a listed business to do, and we don't guarantee a business's work, pricing, licensing, or availability — check those with the pro, in writing, before work starts. Ratings shown are public ratings captured when a listing was seeded; they are information, not endorsements.
Listings
- Basic listings are created from publicly available business information and are free.
- A business may claim its listing — free — to verify ownership and correct or enrich its details. We verify every claim by hand before handing a listing over.
- A business may request correction or removal of its listing at any time via the contact page or hello@igotapro.com. Removal requests are honored promptly and free of charge.
- We may correct, decline, or remove any listing that is inaccurate, misleading, or no longer operating.
Paid placements: Featured and Category Owner
- Featured is $49 per month for one trade in one city. There is only one Featured spot per trade, per city. Category Owner is $129 per month per city. There is only one Owner per category, per city. A taken spot is never sold twice; interested pros may take another city or tier, or join the waitlist for that spot.
- Pricing is flat monthly rent — never a per-lead charge, never an auction. There is no contract and no minimum term; cancel anytime in two clicks, effective at the end of the current paid month.
- Featured zero-contact rule: if a Featured listing receives zero call taps in a calendar month, that month costs $0.
- Founding price lock: a founding member's rate stays locked at the price they joined at for as long as their membership stays active.
- Paid placements are always labeled as Featured or Owner. Placement buys position and presentation only — never ratings, reviews, or editorial claims.
- Monthly reports count call taps (taps on a listing's call/text buttons). A tap is not a completed call, a booked job, or a lead, and we never describe it as one.
- If a paid placement's payment lapses beyond a reasonable grace period, the spot may be released to the waitlist. If we ever change pricing for future members, existing members keep their locked rate.
Acceptable use
Don't submit false claims or impersonate a business you don't own; don't scrape the directory to build a competing copy; don't use listing phone numbers for spam. Submissions that break these rules will be removed.
Liability
The site and listings are provided “as is,” on a best-effort basis for accuracy. To the extent the law allows, IGotAPro's liability for any claim arising from use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the month the claim arose (for homeowners, who pay nothing, that is $0). Florida law governs these terms.
Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date before they take effect; changes never alter a locked founding rate or apply retroactively to a paid month. Questions: hello@igotapro.com or the contact page. See also our privacy policy.
