What we collect
Listing and contact submissions. When a business submits a claim or listing request, or a visitor sends a message, we collect the information on the form (name, business details, phone, email, and message text) so we can respond, verify the claim, and maintain the listing.
Call-tap counts. When a visitor taps a phone or text button on a listing, we count the tap — which business, trade, city, and page — so pros get an honest monthly count of taps on their number. A tap count never includes the visitor's own phone number or identity.
Basic usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful — pages visited, approximate location at the city level, and device type. Our hosting logs record the same basics. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
What we never do
- We never sell personal information — including form submissions — to lead brokers, data resellers, or anyone else.
- We never share a homeowner's contact details with businesses. There are no shared leads on IGotAPro: homeowners call the pro they chose, directly.
- We never place a business's private (non-published) number on a listing.
Business listing information
Basic listings display publicly available business information (business name, published phone number, service area, and public ratings where verified). This information comes from public sources. Owners may claim a listing to correct or enrich it, or request removal of a listing at any time via the contact page or hello@igotapro.com; removal requests are honored promptly.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses its own cookies for aggregate measurement. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to listings or phone numbers.
Your choices
Ask us what submission data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted: use the contact form and mark your message “Privacy,” or email hello@igotapro.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date before it takes effect.
